Aus der Pampa // Zu einem ordentlichen Fika (Kaffee-Pause) gehört das richtige Ambiente. Besonders im Hinblick auf Teppiche, ist das gar nicht immer so einfach. Ich erinnere mich noch gut daran, als mein significant other und ich uns auf Teppiche fürs unsere Wohnung einigen mussten.. Hätten wir schon früher von Pampa gewusst, hätten wir wahrscheinlich anstatt zwei Teppichen, lieber in nur einen, aber von Pampa investiert. For every proper Fika (Coffee Break) you need the right ambiance. That’s sometimes especially hard if you and your s.o. look for carpets. I remember well. If we had known Pampa before, we wold probably have chosen to invest in only one from Pampa, but to buy two cheaper ones. Pampa ist ein Australisches Unternehmen mit dem Sitz Hinterland von Byron Bay (dort war damals mein erster längerer Aufenthalt auf eine ökologischen Farm in Australien!!!). Es verbindet die kunstvolle Handarbeit von Argentinischen Weberinnen mit ausgezeichnetem Interior Ideen und exzellenten Arbeiten von den zwei Gründern und Fotografen – welche somit zwei Welten, Visionen und Kulturen teilen.

Pampa is an Australian enterprise which originates from the hinterland of Byron Bay (this is also the village where I spent my first weeks working in Australia, back then). It combines the artful craftsmanship of Argentine workers with great interior ideas and excellent photographies from the two employers – with which they share two worlds, two visions and two cultures.

This flexibility means that our weavers can work from their homes and villages, eliminating the need to travel long distances to sell their rugs or find alternate employment in big cities.
