Diesen Sommer habe ich hart gearbeitet, war nicht im Urlaub, habe während meines Praktikums noch Dinge für das Modedesign Studium erledigen müssen, fashionfika weiter gepflegt und nicht zu vergessen noch ein wenig Privatleben geführt. Da darf man sich doch mal was gönnen, oder?
I’ve worked really hard this summer to make my internship, essays for my fashion design studies, fashionfika and not to forget my private life work. Plus, I had no vacation and also don’t have time a vacation, because as soon as my internship is over, studies have already started. So I thought I had to spoil myself a bit. Der Beschluss war gefasst: Ich gönn mir was schönes. Aber fair soll es bitte sein. Labels in der Fair Wear Foundation oder ähnlichem gibt es ja zum Glück schon genug. Als ich die online Shops durchscrollte war es sofort um mich geschehen, als die roten Stiefeletten sah.
Als ich 16 war, ich weiß es noch ganz genau, weil es mein allererstes Mal in einem Flugzeit war (!), flog ich mit meiner Mutter nach London und kaufte mir auf dem Camden Market ein Paar rote Stiefeletten. Sie wurden getragen, bis die Sohle durch war, deswegen sind die Stiefel auch mein neues Investment Piece, dass ich hegen und pflegen werde.
The decision was made: I’m gonna tread myself. But it had to be from a fair label. Luckily, by now there are more than enough. Since I had a great pair of red boots when I was 16 and wore until they were torn. I instantly fell in love with these babes, when I saw them on net-a-porter. But of course, there was more that I liked.
I couldn’t decide whether to get an amazing grey long cardigan or those red boots, both from Acne. Buying both was out of question to I resigned and chose the boots. My investment piece will be worn till they can’t be worn anymore and I’ll care for them as best as I can.
Beim stöbern im online Shop entdeckte ich jedoch (natürlich) noch ein zweites Objekt der Begierde: ein langer grauer Woll-Cardigan. Auch von Acne Studios. Also hieß es entweder oder. Im Berliner Acne Store probierte ich beides an und konnte mich immer noch nicht entscheiden. Eines Abends beantwortete ich mal wieder ein paar eMails bei kleiderkreisel, als ich auf die Idee kam dort mal nach den Labels der Fair Wear Foundation zu suchen. Siehe da, ich fand sofort dieses wunderschöne Exemplar an Long-Cardigan, was dem Model von Acne tatsächlich auch sehr nahe kommt. Anni ist glücklich.
It came that when checked into a second hand online community, where I often sell unworn clothes, so they get a second life, I thought about checking out what brands in the fair wear foundation were sold there. I couldn’t believe my eyes, when I saw this amazing grey long-cardigan by filippa k., which resembles a lot the one I wanted from Acne. Not to mention that it was a fourth of the price.
